Students may enroll at any time during the school year, though it sometimes makes sense to wait until quarter or semester. Every situation is different and we can help you come up with a plan that works for you. If the school is full, Cardinal Academy will hold a student lottery on May 1 of each year.
No. Cardinal Academy is a free, public charter school.
No! There are lots of reasons you may choose to come to Cardinal Academy, but no one can make you. At Cardinal Academy, you’ll have small classes with caring teachers, medical appointments and counseling right on campus, plus the childcare just downstairs. You can even shop at the school store and get two free, delicious meals every day.
However, Title IX protects pregnant and parenting students by ensuring your school must allow you to continue participating in classes and extracurricular activities and provide you with reasonable adjustments due to pregnancy (like a larger desk, elevator access, or more restroom trips).

If you aren’t able to finish, we’ll connect you with a GED program. Plus, you can still work with The Salvation Army and take advantage of all the great services available on campus.
Some decide to go right to work. Others decide to sign up for a short-term job training program to help them get skills and make more money. Some students decide to go to college, though not all of them want to go right after high school. At Cardinal Academy, our Academic and Career counselor will help you figure out a plan you are proud of.
